Notably, he played a key role in designing the Guangzhou IFC Tower (RIBA 2012 Lubetkin Prize winner) and the London 2012 Olympic Stadium. His portfolio also includes Liverpool King’s Waterfront, Apple Campus 2, and second-generation Apple Stores.
As Principal Architect in China, he led Wanda Group’s overseas projects, including Wanda One Nine Elmes, Paris Europacity, and Vista Tower in Chicago.
Beyond large-scale projects, William leads a research team on digital fabrication, runs an urban regeneration program on sports architecture at Southeast University, and teaches at Norwich University.
Chinmay is a seasoned architect at Blakdogl Architects with 17 years of experience in design, management, and project delivery across diverse sectors and regions, including the UK, Europe, India, and China. He has led award-winning public and private sector projects through all RIBA stages.
Previously, he played a key role in the 198-unit Aga Khan Trust student residence at King’s Cross and the 48 Leicester Square office project. Other significant projects include the National Holocaust Memorial, the International Finance Corporation office in Senegal, and large-scale residential and mixed-use developments in Hackney, Greenwich Square, and Botley.
Notably, Chinmay was also a Senior Designer for the London 2012 Olympic Stadium, contributing from concept to planning submission, and worked on Leeds Arena and Silverstone Pit and Paddock building designs.
Van studied at Kingston University before completing her professional accreditation at Westminster University. Her diverse career spans bespoke high-end housing, commercial design, and high-rise residential towers, as well as cultural, sporting, and infrastructure projects.
Her portfolio includes landmark projects such as Liverpool M&S Bank Arena, Farringdon Rail Station, and several key venues for the 2012 London Olympics, including the Basketball Arena, Velodrome, Eton Manor, and BMX Track Arena. Throughout her career, Van has established herself as a reliable project and lead designer, contributing to renowned firms like Wilkinson Eyre, PLP, and Populous.
Van founded the practice in 2018 forming a strong ethos of design and functionality, where her versatility, passion, and expertise continue to drive the team forward.
